India's Wholesale Price Inflation Rises to 2.13% in February 2026

India's wholesale price inflation rose to 2.13% in February 2026, marking the fourth consecutive monthly increase and an 11-month high. The rise was driven by higher prices in manufacturing, basic metals, food articles, textiles, and non-food items, while vegetable prices eased. Despite this, the fuel and power sector continued to experience deflation. Retail inflation also increased to 3.2% in February. The Reserve Bank of India has maintained accommodative policy rates amid these moderate inflation levels.
