Skoda Auto India Plans 10 New Launches and Electric Vehicle Amid Market Growth

Skoda Auto India experienced significant growth in 2025, nearly doubling sales to over 70,000 units and becoming the brand's fourth-largest global market. The company plans to sustain momentum in 2026 with 10 new product launches, including updates to the Kylaq and Kushaq SUVs, introduction of an electric vehicle, and expansion of its SUV lineup. Skoda also aims to leverage its Indian manufacturing base for exports, particularly to Europe, anticipating benefits from the India-EU free trade agreement. The automaker is adopting a multi-fuel strategy, considering electric, hybrid, CNG, and flex-fuel options to meet upcoming emission norms and market demands.
