RECPDCL Transfers Umred Power Transmission Project to Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company

REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a subsidiary of REC Limited under the Ministry of Power, handed over the Umred Power Transmission Limited, a project-specific Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for an intra-state transmission project in Maharashtra, to Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited on February 26, 2026. The transfer follows a Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding process, with the project involving the establishment of substations and transmission lines over a 24-month implementation period.
