Delhi Metro Completes Relocation and Upgrade of Park Street Power Substation for Central Vista Line

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has completed the relocation and reconstruction of the Park Street Electric Receiving Sub Station (RSS), dismantled in 2021-22 for the Central Vista Project. The upgraded substation, commissioned in December 2025 on alternate land provided by CPWD, supports the Airport and Violet Lines and the upcoming Central Vista Metro Line between Indraprastha and R K Ashram Marg. It features modern automation, energy-efficient systems, enhanced safety measures, and plans for rooftop solar power to meet current and future power demands.
