India Sees 126 Land Deals Covering Over 3,772 Acres in 2025, MMR Leads Activity

In 2025, India recorded 126 land deals covering over 3,772 acres, with the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) leading at 32 deals spanning more than 500 acres. Bengaluru and Pune followed with significant transactions. Residential projects accounted for the largest share, involving 96 deals over 1,877 acres, including townships and villas. Other acquisitions targeted commercial, mixed-use, industrial parks, data centres, warehousing, and retail developments, reflecting developers' confidence amid rising land prices and infrastructure growth.
