The European Commission has requested the EU anti-fraud office OLAF to review Peter Mandelson's conduct during his tenure as EU Trade Commissioner from 2004 to 2008, amid revelations of his links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Concurrently, the UK government and Intelligence and Security Committee are preparing to publish documents related to Mandelson's vetting and appointment, with the first tranche expected in early March. OLAF emphasized that its review does not imply a formal investigation or presume guilt.
