
Noida International Airport in Jewar has received security clearance from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) and the aerodrome licence from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), marking key regulatory milestones ahead of its launch. The airport's infrastructure is complete, with capacity to handle 12 million passengers annually in its first phase. Domestic and cargo flights are expected to begin within 45 days, while international operations are planned for September. The formal inauguration date is yet to be announced.
