
Noida International Airport in Jewar has received mandatory security clearance from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued its aerodrome licence, marking a key step toward operational readiness. The airport's infrastructure, including runway and terminal, is complete and designed to handle 12 million passengers annually in its first phase. Domestic and cargo flights are expected to begin within 45 days, with international operations planned by September. The formal inauguration date is yet to be announced.
