
Air India and Air India Express will shift all flight operations at Guwahati's Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport from Terminal 1 to the newly inaugurated Terminal 2 starting March 16. Together, they will operate 38 daily flights from the new terminal, with specific inaugural flights from Delhi and Kolkata. The airport serves 21 domestic and three international destinations, and the new terminal aims to enhance Guwahati's role as a regional hub connecting Northeast India with mainland India and Southeast Asia. Ground teams will assist passengers during the transition.
