
Air India Express is set to receive its first line-fit Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft on December 29 in Delhi. This marks the first entirely new plane for the Tata-owned Air India Group since their acquisition. The aircraft, registered VT-RNT, will feature a special livery honoring Ratan Tata. Air India Group has placed significant orders for new aircraft, with Air India Express currently operating over 110 planes, including recently inducted retrofitted MAXs and new Airbus A321 neos.
