NTPC is accelerating its nuclear energy plans, aiming for 30 GW of company-owned projects by 2047, with a target of 2 GW by 2032. The company is exploring international collaborations for technology and fuel, including non-disclosure agreements with Rosatom and EDF for large reactor projects, and partnerships with Holtec International for small modular reactors (SMRs). NTPC is also evaluating a minority equity investment in US-based Clean Core Thorium Energy.
