
The Odisha government secured investment commitments totaling around Rs 1 lakh crore during a two-day investors meet and roadshow in Kolkata, attended by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and other officials. The event included 27 signed MoUs worth Rs 81,864 crore and 19 investment intent proposals worth Rs 18,453 crore, potentially generating 80,000 jobs. Majhi highlighted the importance of execution and invited industry leaders to collaborate in building a strong eastern industrial corridor, emphasizing Odisha's strategic ports and economic transformation.
