The Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) has welcomed the government's new Interest Subvention Scheme for MSME exporters, effective immediately. This scheme offers a 2.75% interest subvention on pre- and post-shipment export credit for eligible MSME manufacturers and merchant exporters. AEPC Chairman A. Sakthivel stated the intervention will provide crucial financial support, improve liquidity, reduce costs, and boost the global competitiveness of Indian apparel exporters during a challenging period.
