
Union Bank of India’s Committee of Directors for fund raising approved issuing long-term bonds worth up to Rs 20,000 crore to finance infrastructure and affordable housing projects. The bank plans to raise part of this amount, including Rs 7,500 crore with a 10-year tenor, before March 31, 2026. Additionally, the committee approved issuing green or sustainable bonds up to Rs 5,000 crore in multiple tranches to support related initiatives.
