A report by the professional platform Blind reveals that about 52% of tech and banking professionals in India and the US expect increased hiring in India in 2026, with 34% anticipating significant growth. Major global firms like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft are expanding roles in India, driven partly by H-1B visa restrictions and the growth of Global Capability Centres. However, challenges such as talent retention and wage inflation are also noted.
