THINK Gas, a major gas distribution company, has welcomed the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board's (PNGRB) revised Unified Tariff framework, anticipating it will lead to reduced prices for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG). The company expects price reductions of up to Rs 2.50 per kg for CNG and Rs 5 per SCM for PNG in several states starting January 1, 2026. THINK Gas also plans voluntary reductions in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan, aiming to make natural gas more affordable for consumers and facilitate infrastructure development.
