The surcharge ranges from Rs 425 for domestic and Indian subcontinent routes to Rs 2,300 for Europe-bound flights. IndiGo stated the charge partially offsets increased costs while considering passenger affordability. This follows similar moves by Air India and Air India Express amid rising global fuel prices impacting airline operating expenses.
