Over 3 Lakh Artisans to Benefit from SFURTI and MSE-CDP Cluster Development Initiatives

The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises has completed 364 projects under the Micro and Small Enterprises-Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP), with 242 projects ongoing. The Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI) has approved 513 clusters since 2015-16, benefiting around 3.03 lakh traditional artisans in sectors like handicrafts and agro-processing. The initiatives focus on enhancing productivity through Common Facility Centres incorporating modern technologies and digital infrastructure to support MSME sector development.
