Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) is developing a performance-based incentive policy to motivate employees and boost revenue. Employees exceeding income targets will receive incentives. HPTDC, with 56 hotels and 10 restaurants employing 1,780 staff, aims to enhance sales and customer service. The corporation recorded ₹108.67 crore revenue in 2024-25, partly due to a MakeMyTrip partnership and ongoing property renovations. HPTDC is also exploring foreign exchange business and seeking a term loan for retiree payments.
