Government Advances Aerospace Manufacturing Through International Partnerships

Union Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu stated that the Indian government is actively promoting aerospace manufacturing through global collaborations. Notably, Brazilian company Embraer has partnered with Indian firms to establish a final assembly line for E175 regional jets, while Russian Sukhoi has signed an MoU with HAL to produce the SJ 100 superjet. The minister emphasized the complexity of aircraft manufacturing and highlighted ongoing efforts to expand the domestic aerospace ecosystem under the Prime Minister's leadership.
