Rajesh Power Projects Signs 65 MW Battery Storage Agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam

Rajesh Power Projects, a subsidiary of Rajesh Power Services, has signed a 12-year Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam to develop a 65 MW, 130 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System in Virpore, Gujarat. Expected to commission within 18 months, the project aims to support renewable energy integration and enhance grid flexibility. Gujarat is advancing grid-scale battery storage through multiple procurement phases to complement its growing renewable capacity.
