GMR Airports Awarded Contract to Manage and Upgrade Delhi Cargo Terminal 1

GMR Airports has been awarded the contract by Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) to upgrade, modernize, finance, operate, manage, and maintain Cargo Terminal 1 at Indira Gandhi International Airport until 2036. The project follows a revenue share model with an estimated Rs 340 crore revenue share in the first full year. This follows DIAL's termination of the previous contract with Turkish firm Celebi in May 2025, after which GMR Airports managed the terminal on an interim basis before winning the competitive bidding process.
