SEBI Proposes Consolidated Executive Pay Disclosure for Asset Management Companies
India's Securities and Exchange Board (SEBI) has proposed revising disclosure norms for asset management companies (AMCs) by allowing consolidated reporting of executive and high-earner remuneration instead of individual disclosures. This aims to balance investor transparency with employee privacy concerns and reduce competitive risks. The proposal includes aggregated pay details for senior executives and top employees, along with scheme-level fund manager remuneration disclosures. SEBI is seeking public feedback on these changes until June 30.
