Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL) has finalized India's largest tender for 10,900 electric buses under the PM E-DRIVE Scheme. This initiative aims to reduce over 4 million tonnes of CO2 emissions and improve air and noise pollution in five major cities. Andhra Pradesh is set to receive 750 e-buses, including 150 for Visakhapatnam, enhancing clean urban transportation. The tender process was supported by the Ministries of Heavy Industries and Power.
