Himadri Speciality Chemical Starts Commercial Operations of Expanded Carbon Black Capacity

Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd has begun commercial operations of a new 70,000 tonnes per annum speciality carbon black line at its Mahistikry facility in Hooghly, West Bengal. This expansion increases the company's total carbon black capacity to 250,000 TPA, including 130,000 TPA of speciality carbon black at Mahistikry, making it the world's largest single-location speciality carbon black plant. The project incorporates advanced technologies and aims to meet growing global demand in high-value applications such as plastics, inks, paints, and coatings.
