IndiGo Assures Adequate Pilots and Stable Operations Under New Flight Duty Rules

Following widespread flight disruptions in December 2025, IndiGo has assured the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) that it has sufficient pilots to comply with new Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) norms from February 10, 2026, and expects no flight cancellations thereafter. The DGCA imposed a Rs 22.20 crore fine on IndiGo for operational shortcomings, including over-optimisation and inadequate crew management. IndiGo's winter schedule remains reduced by 10%, with ongoing regulatory monitoring to ensure roster integrity and operational stability.
