IndiGo cancelled 118 flights on Monday due to a combination of bad weather, primarily dense fog in northern India, and operational reasons. These cancellations affected numerous airports including Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. The airline stated that foggy conditions impacted visibility, leading to ongoing delays. This follows previous flight cancellations attributed to pilot duty norms and earlier weather events. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has noted that CAT III conditions are in effect, warning of continued disruptions during the winter fog season.
