IIT Delhi Launches Centre of Excellence for Power Sector Regulatory Affairs

IIT Delhi, in partnership with the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission and Grid Controller of India Ltd., has launched a Centre of Excellence for Regulatory Affairs in the power sector. Inaugurated by Union Power Minister Manohar Lal, the Centre aims to enhance regulatory capacity amid rising electricity demand, renewable energy integration, market reforms, and digitalisation. It will focus on research, capacity building, advisory support, and knowledge dissemination to address regulatory challenges and support institutional development in India's evolving power sector.
