
The Cheesecake Factory Bakery has entered India through a licensing partnership with Bengaluru-based The Gourmet Café, launching its first store in Bengaluru. The Gourmet Café plans to invest around $60 million to open 55 outlets nationwide over the next four to five years, targeting Rs 200-250 crore in revenue. Initial expansion includes 3-6 more stores in Bengaluru in 2026, followed by major metros and emerging cities. The move aims to tap India's growing premium dessert market driven by urban consumers seeking global brands.
