South Western Railway Reports Revenue Growth and Record Freight Loading up to February 2026

South Western Railway (SWR) reported strong financial and operational results for February 2026 and the 2025-26 fiscal year up to February. The zone achieved a gross revenue of Rs 8,550 crore, a 14.31% increase year-on-year, with freight revenue at Rs 4,876 crore growing 18.27% and passenger revenue at Rs 3,154 crore up 9.25%. February alone saw Rs 780 crore revenue, supported by record freight loading of 4.26 million tonnes, including best-ever steel and coal loading for the month.
