SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey announced the formation of a working group to create a long-term technology roadmap for Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs). This roadmap will outline a five-to-ten-year strategic vision for the securities market ecosystem, focusing on quality and sophistication alongside continued growth in scale and participation. Pandey emphasized the importance of trust, regulation, transparency, and enforcement for market sustainability, highlighting SEBI's mature regulatory framework and the unimpeachable governance required for MIIs.
