
The Municipal Corporation (MC) successfully conducted an e-auction for outdoor advertisements on a Design, Build, Operate, Maintain, Transfer basis after a 10-year hiatus. Three bids were received, with the highest bid of Rs 13.71 crore exceeding the reserve price of Rs 13.50 crore. Including 18% GST, the total bid value is Rs 16.71 crore for 2,092 advertising sites. Officials stated this marks a significant financial boost and a step towards regulated outdoor advertising.
