KVIC Reports Rs 1.7 Lakh Crore Turnover, Highlights Khadi's Economic Role

The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) reported a historic annual turnover of Rs 1.7 lakh crore in 2024-25, generating employment for 1.94 crore people. KVIC CEO Roop Rashi described khadi as a symbol of economic resilience that supports local businesses and contributes to a self-reliant India. The 'Khadi Mahotsav-2026' in Thane, marking 70 years of KVIC's service, features over 65 stalls from 15 states and runs until March 6.
