Air India announced new international flights to Hanoi and Tokyo Haneda to expand its Asia connectivity. Starting May 1, 2026, Delhi-Hanoi flights will operate five times weekly using A320neo aircraft, making Hanoi the airline's second destination in Vietnam. From June 15, 2026, Mumbai-Tokyo (Haneda) flights will run four times weekly with Boeing 787-8 aircraft. These additions respond to growing Indian travel demand and aim to boost trade, tourism, and business ties with Japan and Vietnam.
