Air India to Deploy New Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on Mumbai-Frankfurt Route from February 2026

Air India will deploy its first custom-made Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with upgraded cabin interiors on the Mumbai-Frankfurt route starting February 1, 2026. Operating five weekly flights, this marks the first Dreamliner addition since Tata Group's 2022 takeover. The airline's fleet upgrade includes new widebody aircraft and retrofits, enhancing connectivity through Frankfurt and codeshare partnerships, facilitating seamless travel to Europe, North America, and Asia.
