Navi Mumbai International Airport to Begin International Flights and Cargo Operations July 15
Navi Mumbai International Airport, owned by the Adani Group, plans to start international passenger and cargo freighter operations from July 15, pending final regulatory approvals. Initial international flights will focus on short-haul routes, especially to the Gulf region, with Air India Express and IndiGo expected to operate. Customs inspections and notifications are underway, with a trade notice anticipated by early July. The airport is also redesigning Terminal 2 to increase capacity to 50 million passengers, aiming to expand its role as a major aviation and logistics hub.
