GMDC and NMDC Sign MoU to Collaborate on Rare Earth Elements Development in Gujarat

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) and central public sector enterprise NMDC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on rare earth elements (REE) development. The partnership will focus on exploring, mining, beneficiation, processing, and downstream applications, particularly targeting GMDC's Ambadungar rare earth deposit. Both entities aim to evaluate technical and business opportunities to develop an integrated rare earth value chain in Gujarat, facilitating knowledge exchange and coordinated efforts in the sector.
