Bengaluru's Urban Development Department has approved a One Time Settlement (OTS) scheme for pending water bills, set to launch in early January and run for three months. This initiative aims to clear BWSSB's ₹701 crore arrears by allowing consumers to pay the principal amount and have interest and penalties waived. The process will be managed online via the BWSSB website or a new mobile app, with special teams also reaching out to defaulters.
