The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has approved a Rs 797.17 crore project to develop a dedicated green hydrogen jetty at Odisha's Paradip Port. Implemented by Paradip Port Authority on a build-operate-transfer basis, the facility will handle 4 million tonnes per annum of green hydrogen, ammonia, and other liquid cargo. The project aims to strengthen export logistics, connect emerging green hydrogen clusters to global markets, and support the National Green Hydrogen Mission. Completion is expected within 24 months, with Paradip Port providing 20% capital support.
