Navi Mumbai International Airport Handles Over 1 Lakh Passengers in 19 Days

Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) surpassed 100,000 passengers within 19 days of commercial operations starting December 25, 2025. By January 12, it handled 109,917 passengers, including 55,934 arrivals and 53,983 departures, with January 10 as the busiest day. The airport managed 734 air traffic movements and processed over 79,000 bags. It also handled 22.21 tonnes of cargo. Delhi, Goa, and Bengaluru were the top routes. NMIA aims to scale services efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.
