IRCTC's E-Pantry Service Records Over 65,000 Meal Orders Across 25 Trains

IRCTC's e-pantry meal booking service, launched in April 2025 on the Vivek Express and now available on 25 mail and express trains, has recorded over 65,000 orders. The service allows passengers to pre-book meals online for trains without pantry cars, with lunch being the most popular choice at over 15,000 orders. The Nizamuddin-Bengaluru Sampark Kranti Express leads in bookings, and December 2025 saw the highest monthly demand with 16,500 meals ordered, reflecting growing passenger convenience and digital adoption.
