Karnataka Highlights AI Ethics and Innovation at GAFX 2026 to Boost AVGC Sector

At the seventh Bengaluru GAFX conference, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah emphasized that AI should enhance human creativity without replacing it, highlighting the state's commitment to ethical AI use and inclusive growth in the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR) sector. Karnataka, with its dedicated AVGC policy and a Rs 150 crore investment for 2024-2029, aims to generate significant employment and promote innovation beyond Bengaluru. Minister Priyank Kharge noted efforts to connect startups with global investors and increase women's participation in the industry.
