Shravan Kumar Vishwakarma, originally from Unnao, has founded Shankh Air, Uttar Pradesh's first scheduled airline, set to launch in January 2026. Vishwakarma's journey began as a tempo driver and loader in Kanpur, later building success in steel, cement, and transport industries. The airline received its No Objection Certificate from the Ministry of Civil Aviation on December 24, 2025. Shankh Air will initially operate with three Airbus A320 aircraft, with hubs planned for Lucknow and Noida International Airport.
