
Following a revised directive from the US Federal Aviation Administration issued on February 2, Air India is modifying faucet control modules in most of its 33 Boeing 787 Dreamliners to address potential water leaks that could affect electronic equipment. This directive supersedes a January 2024 order requiring inspections. More than half of the identified aircraft have undergone modifications. Neither Air India nor Boeing has provided official comments on the ongoing process.
