Arvind Fashions is acquiring Flipkart India's 31.25% stake in Arvind Youth Brands, which operates the Flying Machine apparel brand, for Rs 135 crore. This acquisition will make Arvind Youth Brands a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arvind Fashions. The deal aims to streamline operations and enhance strategic control for Arvind, while Flipkart focuses on its core e-commerce business. Flying Machine reported a turnover of Rs 432.16 crore in the last fiscal year. The transaction is expected to close by December 29, 2025.
