India and the European Union have reaffirmed their political resolve to expedite negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement (FTA). Union Minister Piyush Goyal's two-day visit to Brussels concluded with ministerial talks aimed at resolving pending issues and narrowing divergences. Both sides emphasized the strategic importance of a fair, balanced, and ambitious agreement, guiding negotiating teams to accelerate progress on tracks including market access and rules of origin, with an aim for an early conclusion.
