Sargad Signs MoU to Invest Rs 1,000 Crore in Telangana Aerospace Sector

At the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos, US-based industrial platform Sargad signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Telangana government to invest approximately Rs 1,000 crore (around $100 million) over three to five years. The investment aims to develop Telangana's aerospace and defence manufacturing ecosystem, including establishing an aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility, potentially in Warangal or Adilabad. Telangana is also creating three economic zones focused on services, manufacturing, and agriculture, with government officials offering incentives to support industrial growth and MSME development.
