Amazon India has expanded its Amazon Air cargo network by adding a new route connecting Guwahati and Kolkata, aiming to speed up deliveries across the seven Northeastern states by up to five times. Launched in 2023, Amazon Air initially served major cities like Hyderabad and Delhi. The inaugural flight was flagged off by Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu. Officials highlighted that this expansion will enhance seller connectivity, improve delivery speeds, generate employment, and support regional economic growth.
