Maruti Suzuki India achieved a record annual production of over 22.55 lakh units in calendar year 2025, marking a 9.3% increase from the previous year. This is the second consecutive year the company has surpassed 20 lakh units. Production encompassed domestic sales, exports, and OEM supplies, with Fronx, Baleno, Swift, Dzire, and Ertiga being the top models. CEO Hisashi Takeuchi attributed the success to employee dedication, supplier synergy, and high localization, highlighting India's automotive manufacturing strength.
