Gurugram's Rapid Metro has experienced a significant increase in both ridership and fare revenue over the past eight months. The metro network, spanning 10.58 km, carried over 1.27 crore passengers between April and November, a rise from the previous year. Fare revenue also saw a substantial jump, while operational expenditure increased at a lower rate, indicating improved efficiency. This positive performance follows the Haryana government's directive for the Haryana Metro Rail Corporation to manage operations after previous financial difficulties.
